Joaquin Rodriguez Ortiz

Joaquin Rodriguez Ortiz conducts helicopter practical tests for private pilot and flight instructor applicants in Puerto Rico, serving the regional area near Bayamón and Manatí. He has spent decades as a helicopter flight instructor at Isla Grande Flying School, based at the Fernando Luis Ribas Dominicci Airport in San Juan. His instructional career at the school dates back to at least 2005, where he has trained students through solo flights and night operations, including instructing in Robinson R-22 helicopters. In addition to his aviation career, Rodriguez Ortiz served as the Commissioner of the Municipal Police in Manatí during 2008 and 2009.
