Jason Eric Jacobs is a distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and the President of Expert Aviation, based in Loxahatchee, Florida. With nearly three decades of experience in the aviation industry, Jacobs has built a diverse career spanning flight training, corporate aviation, and flight department management. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a Master Certified Flight Instructor (MCFI), having successfully trained hundreds of pilots for both domestic and international operations. His technical expertise is underscored by numerous jet type ratings and a profound understanding of complex aircraft systems.
As an examiner within the FAA’s South Florida jurisdiction, Jacobs is authorized to conduct practical tests for Private, Commercial, Instrument, and ATP certifications in both single and multi-engine aircraft. Throughout his career, Jacobs has maintained an exemplary safety record, leveraging his extensive background in on-demand charter and corporate flight operations to provide candidates with a fair, thorough, and safety-oriented checkride experience.
