Jason Eric Jacobs

Jason Eric Jacobs is a distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and the President of Expert Aviation, based in Loxahatchee, Florida. With nearly three decades of experience in the aviation industry, Jacobs has built a diverse career spanning flight training, corporate aviation, and flight department management. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a Master Certified Flight Instructor (MCFI), having successfully trained hundreds of pilots for both domestic and international operations. His technical expertise is underscored by numerous jet type ratings and a profound understanding of complex aircraft systems.

As an examiner within the FAA’s South Florida jurisdiction, Jacobs is authorized to conduct practical tests for Private, Commercial, Instrument, and ATP certifications in both single and multi-engine aircraft. He is particularly recognized for his proficiency in a wide range of airframes, including the Beechcraft Duchess, Piper Seneca, and the Cessna 300/400 series. Beyond his role as an examiner, he serves as a volunteer Safety Representative for the FAA Safety Team (FAASTeam), where he promotes safety through education and mentorship.
