Guenter Trautmann

Guenter Trautmann is a distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner and retired airline captain based in Indian Land, South Carolina. With a professional aviation career spanning over four decades, Trautmann’s journey began with training in Germany, eventually leading to a prominent career with Lufthansa before he moved to the United States. He spent the majority of his commercial career as a captain for US Airways and American Airlines, flying numerous heavy jet aircraft.
