Gregory Michael Cyr

Gregory Michael Cyr is an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner based in Bend, Oregon, where he serves as the Chief Pilot for Leading Edge Aviation Charter at Bend Municipal Airport (KBDN). In this role, Cyr manages and coordinates the company's helicopter charter services. He also serves as a primary local examiner for student pilots training through the Central Oregon Community College (COCC) Aviation Program, which operates its Part 141 helicopter flight training in partnership with Leading Edge Flight Academy. Outside of flight operations, Cyr launched 3G heliprep in March 2023, developing online ground school resources and study guides specifically for rotary-wing aviators. He administers Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, and Instrument Rating practical tests in helicopters.
