Evan Paraskevopoulos

Evan Paraskevopoulos serves as an FAA Designated Pilot Examiner based in Hayward, California, where he administers Private Pilot practical tests in helicopters. Operating within the footprint of the Oakland and San Jose Flight Standards District Offices, he has focused on rotary-wing flight and helicopter instruction in the San Francisco Bay Area for over ten years. He completed his primary helicopter training in Enstrom Helicopters and has conducted all of his instructional teaching in the local Bay Area. He holds a Commercial Pilot certificate and Instrument rating for helicopters, and is a Certified Flight Instructor who has logged hundreds of hours of rotary-wing instruction. Professionally, he has instructed for Bay Helicoptours and Pacific Helicopters, LLC, at Hayward Executive Airport. His teaching earned him the AOPA Distinguished Flight Instructor Award of Distinction for the Western Pacific Region in 2018, 2019, 2021–2022, and 2023.
