Aram Basmadjian

Aram Basmadjian is a highly experienced aviator and FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) based in Macungie, Pennsylvania. With over 8,000 hours of flight time, he holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a Gold Seal Certificated Flight Instructor (CFI, CFII, MEI). His professional aviation history includes a tenure as a Captain for SkyWest Airlines, where he operated Canadair Regional Jets. Currently, he serves as the Chief Flight Instructor for Lehigh Carbon Community College’s Part 141 flight school and is an accredited instructor for the Bonanza Pilot Proficiency Program (BPPP).

Beyond the cockpit, Aram maintains a distinguished parallel career as the Executive Vice President of the Allen Organ Company and is a world-renowned concert organist. This unique background in high-level technical performance translates into a disciplined and safety-oriented mindset during flight evaluations. Primarily operating out of Lehigh Valley International Airport (KABE), he is authorized to conduct practical tests for Private, Commercial, and Multi-Engine certificates, as well as Flight Instructor initials and renewals.
