Anthony Lee Tisdale

Anthony Lee "Judge" Tisdale is a distinguished FAA Designated Pilot Examiner (DPE) and versatile aviator based in Fallon, Nevada. His journey in flight began at age 19 in his hometown of Fallon, eventually leading to a degree in Economics from the University of Nevada, Reno, and a Juris Doctor from BYU Law School. Despite his legal qualifications, Tisdale pursued a high-performance military career in the U.S. Air Force, where he became a seasoned fighter pilot operating the F-15C Eagle and A-10C Thunderbolt II. He continues to serve his country today as a drill-status Guardsman with the Nevada Air National Guard.

With an extensive professional background that includes flying the Boeing 767 internationally for FedEx Express, Tisdale brings a master-level perspective to pilot evaluations. He holds an Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate and is a Gold Seal flight instructor (CFI/CFII/MEI) with expertise in advanced handling, aerobatics, and tailwheel operations. Outside of aviation, he serves as the Churchill County Justice of the Peace Pro Tempore, a role that complements his reputation for fairness and precision. His commitment to a rigorous safety mindset is rooted in his military and Part 121 experience, ensuring that the next generation of Nevada pilots meets the most exacting standards.
